God Rides a Harley
“For this reason, I bow my knees before the Father,… that He would grant you… to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man; so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:14-19).
The Lord gave me a dream that reflects the depth of this Scripture. In this dream, I was riding a Harley Davidson on a long stretch of highway. As I rode along, I heard the sound of a motorcycle passing by with pipes as loud as thunder. I could not see who it was nor did I see what it was. Then God’s Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, “That was me riding past you, son pay attention to my callings and learn to discern my presence”. I tried to speed up but the engine kept bogging down. Then finally, I caught a glimpse of Jesus riding a Harley Davidson, not made by the hands of men but by God Himself. It was divine with all the accessories of heaven. This bike was pearl white and you could see right through it! Like a sea of glass and weightless as the clouds of heaven. I realized that He had slowed down just enough for me to see Him and His bike. I never could catch Him and the Spirit of the Lord began to say…, “Eternal passion, jealousy, and love”, over and over. I awoke and recorded the words without recollection of the dream until I had prayed and asked God what these words meant. This passion and jealous pursuit of man is fueled by God’s passionate love for His bride. As Paul wrote, “it surpasses our understanding”. Even when He allows us to “catch a glimpse”; we can never fully comprehend the depth of His love. Next time you hear the wind rushing by you, though you do not know were He goes, do not ignore His call but pursue Him! Who knows, maybe He will allow you to experience His eternal passion and love for you.
