Set Us Free Ministries
Set Us Free Ministries was established in 1999 as a non-profit tax exempt 501 C(3) prison ministry by Mickey McNew and his wife Karen. The organization provides support to inmates throughout the States using life application counseling. Inmates are enrolled in a correspondent course called “NewLife Behavior”. The NewLife Behavior course is an eighty nine lesson study guide that deals directly with life issues and provides individuals with the necessary tools to overcome negative behavior and wrong thinking in a life application manner. The lessons address family relationships between husband/wife, child/parent, as well as society and peers. They help individuals with anger and how to handle anger ect. After an inmate completes this course they are given the CASA program, Christian’s against substance abuse. This is a 12 step program using God’s word as the means of deliverance and healing from addiction.
