Adam, the shadow of the Bridegroom! Part I

If you are wondering when Christ, the last Adam, will retrieve His bride, look back at the life of the first Adam. In the beginning God created a bride for Adam. At the evening of the sixth day God brought forth Eve and ordained a wedding for his son. As the dawn of the sixth day quickly approaches, God will send forth His son Jesus Christ to retrieve His bride.

Hebrew doctrine teaches that God created the world in the month of Tishri. This is why they celebrate the New Year on the Feast of Trumpets, Rosh Hashanah, even though Tishri is the seventh month in the Jewish religious calendar it is however the first month of their civil calendar. This is prophetic in the since that the seventh month concludes the Lord’s Feast were both sin and reconciliation are fulfilled. The month of Tishri literally is the beginning of the end! This seventh month Tishri is the month God created the earth.

If you read the original Hebrew text Genesis 1:1 in the Scriptures backwards ˜In the beginning” it reads Tishri the 1st. Notice what is shadowed in Genesis chapter one. Tishri was the month Adam was given a bride. Therefore, Tishri will also be the month Jesus will be sent to retrieve his bride.

This is another reason why the rapture of the bride will be on the Feast of Trumpets and not Pentecost!!!
